Chestnut Villa is a former coaching inn now offering comfortable en-suite bed and breakfast in Grasmere, in the heart of the English Lake District.
Each of our individually decorated rooms offers a stunning view of the surrounding fells making this an ideal base from which to explore one of the world's great natural beauty spots.
Chestnut Villa is located on the edge of the picturesque village of Grasmere and there are a variety of pubs and restaurants serving good food to be found within five minutes walk.
We want you to get the very best out of your stay and will advise on what to do and where to go if ever we can.
Now entering our fourth season, we continue to work with energy and enthusiasm to make your stay as enjoyable as possible and we are proud of the excellent feedback gained both online and in our guest book.
All food is freshly prepared on the premises and is locally sourced from local farms and suppliers wherever possible.
Packed lunches are also available for your days out.
We happily cater for special diets with a little prior notice to allow us to source the necessary ingredients.

Chestnut Villa has a choice of eight individually decorated guest rooms all of which are en-suite with either shower or bath (with hand shower).
We offer doubles, of two standards, and a twin.
The rooms are complete with tea and coffee making facilities, LCD TV’s (some with integrated DVD players), hair dryers and toiletries.
Guests are welcome to relax in the large lounge area, now refurbished, where you can rest and enjoy the views of the surrounding fells.
Low season and single occupancy rates are available.
