Glenesk Country House Hotel is an independently owned, family run hotel which is situated in the beautiful award winning village of Edzell in the north-east of Scotland at the foot of the Angus Glens.
Both Aberdeen and Dundee airports can be reached in around 45 minutes by car.
In the hotel there are 24 bedrooms, excellent dining facilities, malt bar, lounges with free wi-fi, leisure club including swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and small exercise room, spacious parking and a large garden.
The village of Edzell has an excellent 18 hole golf course whose first tee can be viewed from our garden and guest rooms.
It also has a superb 9 hole course for the beginners.
On the outskirts of the village you will find Historic Scotland’s Edzell Castle and Gardens and just a short drive to our neighbouring village you can visit the Fettercairn Distillery.
Angus Glens offer excellent possibilities for fishing, shooting, hill walking and other outdoor pursuits.
Wildlife in its natural environment and the Montrose Basin Wildlife Centre.
With a 20 minute drive to St Cyrus you can experience literally miles of uninterrupted white sandy beaches, and along the coastline you will find beautiful coves.
